We are pleased to announce a wonderful new hire: Joceline Torres, as the new International Services Coordinator in the International Services Department. Joceline just completed her AmeriCorps term of service with the Red Cross and we are so glad that she will be continuing her work with us. Joceline will conduct casework, assist in Restoring Family Links and work to further our mission to alleviate human suffering abroad.
Before becoming an AmeriCorps member, Joceline attended the University of California, Irvine. She is originally from Tujunga, California, and comes from a family of five that includes two older sisters. Joceline loves to read and is always open to book recommendations. She even visits libraries wherever she travels! Joceline will primarily be working out of Downtown LA headquarters, so feel free to say hello or give her a book recommendation when you see her around.
We are so grateful to have Joceline join our team. She is most looking forward to contributing to our mission while challenging herself, meeting new people and being exposed to new fields of work.
